Staffing

Staff interact with children in a positive, friendly and nurturing environment.   All our staff work together as a positive, supportive and collaborative team.

We are very proud of the professional staff employed by the Centre.

We have 2 qualified teachers on staff.

We also employ TAFE trained qualified staff as well as several very experienced support staff.

Some of our staff are multi lingual to help children and parents integrate with ease.

We have ancillary staff to assist at the Centre.  These include cooks and an Office Administrator.

The centre believes in and adheres to the Australian Early Childhood Associations’ Code of Ethics for professional child care workers and values each staff member for who they are and what they do. 

Staff’s professionalism is nurtured through in-service training and interactions with other early childhood professionals.

Innovation is valued and encouraged.

Staff and children follow all the policies and procedures on health and hygiene, ensuring safety and proper hygiene practices within the Centre.

Our Cook provides a hot lunch each day as well as  morning and afternoon tea.

All menus follow the recommended balanced dietary guidelines.

Our cook is available to discuss our menu and new recipes are always invited.    A rotated menu is displayed outside the kitchen for parents information.

Our policy does not allow for food from home to be brought into the Centre thus ensuring safety for children who may be allergic to some foods, for example nuts or shellfish.

Our policies and procedures incorporate Human Services - Community Services (previously DOCS) regulations, National Childcare and Accreditation principles as well as Occupational Health and Safety requirements.
