Our Centre was opened on 22nd April, 1991 by the Kogarah Uniting Church as a Community based Centre, in response to the needs of the surrounding community.

Over the years the Centre has expanded to the present high staffing levels as outlined in the staffing section.

The Centre has undertaken the required industry Quality and Improvement Accreditation process and has been granted maximum accreditation on each occasion and is currently accredited until May, 2008. Further details regarding Accreditation may be found at

The Department of Community Services, a NSW State Government body is responsible for the license governing the size of the Centre and the number of places available to the community.   Further information can be found at

The Centre is licensed under the umbrella of the Uniting Church NSW Synod and the UnitingCare  Children’s Services Forum.
